Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Linkassist.in, our goal is to provide a powerful and intuitive AI tool to elevate your LinkedIn presence. We want you to be satisfied with our service. This policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding cancellations and refunds.

By subscribing to our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy.

1. Cancellation Policy

We believe in giving you full control over your subscription.

How to Cancel:

You can cancel your subscription at any time directly from your account dashboard or billing settings. There are no cancellation fees.

Effect of Cancellation:

When you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current paid billing period (monthly or annual). You will continue to have full access to all your subscribed features until this date.

Future Billings:

You will not be charged for any subsequent billing cycles after cancellation.

No Pro-Rata Refunds for Cancellation:

Please note that cancelling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for the partially used period. For refunds, please see Section 2 below.

2. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is designed to allow you to test our service while protecting us from the costs associated with content generation.

Eligibility for a Refund:

We offer a refund on your very first subscription payment provided you meet both of the following conditions:

  • Timeframe: You must request the refund within 7 (seven) calendar days of your initial purchase.
  • Usage Limit: Your account usage during these 7 days has not exceeded 5 content generations. This allows you to adequately test the platform's capabilities without extensive use.

When Refunds Are Not Provided:

  • Subscription Renewals: This refund policy applies only to your initial subscription. We do not offer refunds on any renewal payments (monthly or annual). We send reminder emails before your renewal date to ensure you have time to cancel if you wish.
  • Exceeding Usage Limits: If you have used the service beyond the specified usage limit within the 7-day window, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • After 7 Days: No refunds will be granted for requests made after the 7-day period from the initial purchase date.
  • Upgrades or Downgrades: Payments made for subscription upgrades are non-refundable.
  • "Change of Mind": As our service involves significant computational costs for AI generation, we cannot offer refunds simply for a change of mind after the eligibility period.
  • Taxes: Please note that any applicable taxes, such as GST, are non-refundable.

3. How to Request a Refund

If you meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 2:

  • Please send an email to our support team at support@linkassist.in from the email address associated with your Linkassist.in account.
  • Use the subject line: "Refund Request - [Your Account Email]".
  • In the email body, please briefly state the reason for your request.

Our team will review your request against the eligibility criteria and process it within 7-10 business days. Approved refunds will be credited back to the original method of payment.

4. Technical Issues

If you are unable to use the Linkassist.in service due to a persistent technical failure or extended downtime originating from our end, please contact our support team immediately. We will investigate the issue, and if we determine it's a fault on our side, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial pro-rata refund or a service credit for the affected period.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Refund and Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this policy will be brought exclusively in the competent courts of New Delhi, India.

6. Policy Modifications

Linkassist.in reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on our website or by sending you an email. Your continued use of our service after such changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the new policy.
