Use the AI apps you already live in. LinkAssist supplies the LinkedIn writer, your User DNA, and a safe path to draft, schedule or publish, without an API key.
Yes, through LinkAssist MCP. It lets ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients write, schedule and publish LinkedIn posts using your LinkAssist User DNA. You connect with the URL https://app.linkassist.ai/api/mcp over OAuth, with no API key. Publishing is intentional: the assistant must get your confirmation, LinkAssist keeps a 30-second cancel window, and a risk check can hold unsafe posts as drafts.
Paste this into your AI app. It's also under Settings, MCP in the LinkAssist app.
https://app.linkassist.ai/api/mcpYou brainstorm in ChatGPT. You refine in Claude. You ship code in Cursor.
Then the LinkedIn part turns into copy-paste: reformat the post, open LinkedIn, fight the editor, forget to schedule, lose the thread. The work isn't writing. It's context-switching.
Your AI app uses the same LinkAssist writer, User DNA, templates and quality checks as the dashboard.
In Claude and Cursor you can also use the built-in prompts write-linkedin-post and plan-my-week.
| Area | What MCP can do |
|---|---|
| Read | User DNA, plan usage, drafts, scheduled and published posts, performance, templates, today's ideas |
| Voice | Improve User DNA, only after you agree |
| Write | Generate and revise posts with LinkAssist's writer, check text against writing rules, save drafts |
| Images | Attach PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MB each |
| Schedule | Schedule, move or cancel |
| Publish | Publish to LinkedIn immediately, only after you confirm |

LinkAssist never auto-likes, follows or messages anyone. How LinkAssist stays inside LinkedIn's rules.
AI app activity uses your plan the same way the dashboard does. Each new post written or saved counts as 1 toward your monthly post limit. Revising, scheduling or publishing doesn't use an extra post. Images you bring yourself don't use AI image quota.
MCP works on Trial, Starter, Growth, Premium and Enterprise. See pricing for current plans, or how LinkAssist compares with other LinkedIn tools.
No. There is no key or token to paste. Your AI app opens LinkAssist in the browser and you press Connect.
No. Publishing requires your explicit confirmation on the exact post. There's also a 30-second cancel window and a risk check.
No. MCP is another front door. Drafts, calendar, User DNA and analytics still live in LinkAssist.
MCP works on Trial, Starter, Growth, Premium and Enterprise while the plan is active. If you see a plan error, upgrade from Settings, Subscription. See linkassist.ai/pricing for current plans.
Yes, but only after you agree. You can ask it to undo.
